SA expats take on Ryanair over Afrikaans test

South African expats in the UK have encountered discrimination when flying with Ryanair.

The Irish airline claims that its Afrikaans test is aimed at weeding out people using fake South African passports. But this discriminatory measure has been particularly difficult for South Africans of colour, who have had traumatic experiences with the language.
