The African National Congress(ANC) has held a picket outside the SABC building in Rocklands, Sea Point. The picketers are calling for the building which is being auctioned, to be sold instead to human settlement entities such as the housing development associations to create affordable housing in the inner city and to ensure that the legacy of Apartheid spatial planning is reversed.
