The Checkers supermarket in Kenilworth Centre has decided to stop trading in halaal products. This was confirmed via the Muslim Judicial Council’s Halaal Trust’s Director Shaykh Achmat Sedick. He says that they have received notice of this decision in writing, and that it will be implemented with immediate effect.
