Women’s T20 World Cup hosts, South Africa, have beat England in a nail-biting semi-final match in Cape Town.
England were chasing the 165 runs set by the home side, but things started to fall apart soon after Nat Sciver-Brunt’s wicket fell for 40.
They then lost five wickets for 26 runs in just 22 balls.
In a post-game interview, Proteas’ Captain, Suné Luus, hailed England as a great team.
She also congratulated her side for continuing to make history through each match at the Women’s T20 World Cup.
Luus hopes that their victory over England is a turning point for women’s cricket and for women’s sport in general.
The Proteas face defending champions Australia in the final at Newlands this Sunday.
