Research on agrochemicals aims to help South African Farmers

South African potato farmers don’t have to spend exorbitant amounts of money on agrichemicals to enhance the growth, development, yield and post-harvest quality of their crops.

According to Siphokuhle Mbuyisa’s research that bagged him cum laude status at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, farmers can instead make use of extracts of other plants that are significantly less harmless to the environment and would produce a higher grade of potato.
