Two men have been killed in Silvertown in Athlone.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Zita Norman say the men aged 33 and 54 were shot dead at a residence in Durant Road on Tuesday night.
The motive for the murders is still unclear at this stage.
Meanwhile in Lotus River one person was killed and another injured in a gang shooting.
It’s alleged they were standing in an open field when they were shot by four males.
Grassy Park Police spokesperson Wynita Kleinsmith says the deceased was found with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
No arrests have been made in both shootings.
