Cutting across boundaries of animal, human and environmental health is needed to understand the ecology of various diseases. This is according to the National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD). In a bid to understand zoonotic diseases, the NICD collaborated across sectors to provide a holistic understanding and perspective of disease transmission dynamics and ecological influences.
